FALL CELEBRATIONS

Since it's now officially insanely chilly outside, I don't really want to leave my place, and this weekend I couldn't stop drawing these little guys. It kind of reminds me the wallpaper in my grandma's kitchen. I want to fill a little nook of my apartment with this wallpaper and sit around drinking endless cups of chai tea and reading books that smell like old books, ya know?

Paper Crane Napkin Holder

I don't think I've ever posted an actual project from my real job on my blog, but I am actually proud of this one so here it is! This is a napkin holder I designed when I was on the dinnerware team last year. They just set in Target stores, so go czech it out :)

I COULDN'T DECIDE WHAT COLOR TO PAINT THE WALLS

Friday night Kristin and I did something mildly crazy. I'm not sure if we're completely insane or just giant color nerds but either way, here it is! It all started when I asked her opinion on what color to paint the wall and started pinning up paint swatches on the wall. Sitting back we both realized covering the wall in swatches would be a bazillion times more exciting. 7 hours and 600+ paint chips (stolen from home depot...sorry HD :)) later we finished!
